paid blog commenting

Postby Chameli » 03 Aug 2018, 14:19

I use forum coin exchange to drive comments on my blog posts. Is there anything wrong in this (I mean paying people to comment on my blog). Will I be penalized by my advertiser? I use Adsense.

Forumcoin isn't listed as a paid to click website, I think that there is nothing wrong in this as long as they don't click on adsene ads.

Google has a lot of guidelines on how you drive traffic and where yo place ads, however, as far as I know it says nothing about driving paid commenting.

You don't generate impressions and clicks on ads so you will not have problems, but still be careful. Don't hire to much people because it would be weird that new site have many comments.

It is okay to use this method occasionally but I would personally go for the comments from organic traffic. Just be clear with the instructions and make sure to moderate the comments before publishing.

Organic comments are best, however, it is difficult to get comments organically. Even if you get organic traffic, organic comments are rare. As long as the commentators are not asked to click on ads, I think it is safe.

I have people go to my blog but I never offer anything for commenting. I always tell people who ever wants to leave a comment, feel free to post . I also use signatures on forums and other sites for my blog link :)

well driving paid comments is not good, but it is also true that you need engagements on your post. A lot of people use sites like postloop and the forum wheel for driving paid commentators.

I have been a paid commentators on many forums. When I commented I did not care about the ads and other things, I only read the post and left comment. However, I am still confused if having paid commentators is detrimental to my blog.

I have worked as a paid commentator on some site. I don't think it is bad if the commentator mentions that he is a paid commentator.

If it works for what you are doing, then its fine. I get comments on my blog once in a while and I don't see a need for me to pay for anyone to post a comment on my blog. I still post updates weekly for all to read and comment if they wish :)

I am not really aware about the tricks of the trade in promoting some traffic to comment your post, but I personally think that it is definitely unethical if not illegal! Thanks!

I think I understand your point of view, though it would really be nice to comment freely not because you are paid. Maybe you can just develop good connection from different sites and invite them to your blogs and request them to leave a comment or suggestion. Good luck.

A lot of forums are using this method, in fact even this forum is building contents from paid commentators.

driving paid traffic is bad, however, it becomes a good marketing strategy if you drive traffic through facebook or adword campaigns. There are many forums using services like postloop and the forum wheel to drive comments.

But don't you think that this is a away of cheating your advertisers? May be I am wrong! This is just my curiosity! Thanks!

Paying for traffic or comments is not cheating unless you ask your visitors and commentators to click on ads. However, you need to use a reputed source for traffic, and not from bots or TE

I don't think there is any problem associated with paid blog commenting. We are doing paid posting on forums, what's the big deal about paid blog commenting.

You are right. There is nothing like that. But note that not every guideline is written on their terms. Google strictly prohibits anything to do with paid on pages with their ads. You can instead create a landing page and let users go to your posts from tha page but not directly.

Yes, sending direct link cna be risky. Therefore using a landing page can be a better idea. Or perhaps, driving visitors/commentators through your social shares.
