Arduino Basic

Postby ruben718 » 18 May 2015, 10:07

What do you think of Arduino?

What was your biggest project using it?

Recommend me to use the Arduino UNO or the other? It's just for basic designs!

I've heard about it, but haven't used it or researched it in-depth. Have you previously done any programming or electronics hobby work?

Edit, this YouTube video of a Ted talk, gives a very interesting intro to Arduino;

Yes've done, some things I saw it with tutorials and was also kind of a portable battery! But nothing I could build and program the same! It's much more fun because of to "play" a little because of to create a traffic light with LEDs, display a message on a screen that frame with Arduino, And much more!

Sounds very interesting ruben718, I think it would be a great way to learn about electronics and programming and also how they interact with each other. Hope you continue to enjoy it and perhaps you will share some of your projects with us in the future.

Arduino is defiantly cool. I'd love one, but I have other things to get first. :(

if you can get it, get it. It's awesome, my dad has one.

@ruben718 may I ask how 'developed' your coding skills are? :D

My biggest project with a similar project (but not using Arduino hardware, only speaking about coding) was developing a cash registry system and warehouse registry system for a company :D Took me couple months but was amazing to work out :D

Not like just Arduino, like several programming languages, projects with programming languages were, a video player made in C #, A system for markets, in which I used for internal use (tests) and not to sell, and many more things created!

Yep I did some basic light blinking project in my programming class.
It was super neat to me how similar it was to C++ and how easy it was to use!

I plan to do a dawn simulation nightlight project in the future if I have time :)
