Donald Trump is going to enter the Social Media Business

Postby Netherrealmer » 21 Oct 2021, 12:19

Trumpie is going to enter the world of Social networks. His Social Network is going to be called Truth Social. He is not doing it for money and profit alone but as a way to have a platform because Twitter and Facebook banned him.

I don't know but this Socmed is most likely going to Appeal to far right people, Antivax moms who believes essential oils can cure cancer, Karens,Incels, MGTOWS, Qanons and hyper religious people.

I saw this headline on Twitter.
I hope his social media site goes the same route as the MAGACOIN.
NOWHERE!!!

After all of that commotion he caused on January 6th at the Capitol, somebody wants to help him get a social media platform so he can cause more commotion and confusion!

Yes. I said HE CAUSED IT!
I don't need a Special Committee to prove it.
I said HE CAUSED IT and I'm not taking it back! :x

I remember there was an attempt to make a social media for conservatives and their servers got banned. I wonder how trump can navigate this hurdle.

One of Trump's former close friend was Richard Hatch, the winner of the first season of Survivor. He is Gay and he remembers Trump was a liberal when they met. He only decided to go conservative and make this Maga persona after an adviser told Trump to go for a populist route,

Justin thought his fame will help him get followers but he was inactive in Music when he bought it, Rihanna was successful because she started Fenti while she is still relevant.

That is a big news. Yes, such a platform can incite some folks but let us hope that folks do not fall prey to illogical or false things and apply their own judgement.

It will definitely have an audience of people who votes red and conspiracy theorist. Republicans had been looking for an internet safespace. Most platforms demonizes them and bans them.

Exactly. Some of these celebs think they can rest on their laurels. But in that business, timing is everything! Why didn't try to a contract performing in Las Vegas. Anyway! He got smart and decided to show up in Las Vegas like Celene Dion, J-Lo and Brittany Spears! He had to make that money somehow.

I guess Timberlake wanted to be a billionaire, Myspace was relevant during the height of his fame, so that might have made him think his fame can help.

People honestly don't need negative vibes from this guy, he is too toxic, and anyone who would be willing to walk with him this journey truly needs to check him/herself because you cannot walk that direction and claim to love people it's crazy. I hope it goes down as soon as they bring it up.

After he inspired his fans to make a coup d'etat to make Trump back to Whitehouse, Most social networks and servers had been banning him. He have to figure out making his own server if he wanted to enter the social network business.

I'll borrow one of Trump's favorite quotes for this strategic move. "Let's wait and see."

If the platform is being used for fiar right people, anti-vaccine people, people who say covid is a hoax, and the likes, it might be blocked by search engines for disseminating false information.

If Media will give his platform a report, people can find his site even without search engine. It will be a paradise for the far right and Karens.

I don't know how far his "Truth" would go!
Anyway, my thought is, maybe he is doing the opposite of the saying
"If you can't beat them, join them!"

Since he can't join the social media giants anymore, maybe he is trying to beat them?

Yes. And that would totally defeat his purpose for creating his own platform. That's a good point you made because if a person is a "public enemy" (although he has never gone to jail but he has harmed the public), they shouldn't just be able to go and create a public platform, just because they have money, and keep doing damage to the society. If that's the case instead of our Constitution saying "We the People", it should be amended to say "We the People WHO HAVE A LOT OF MONEY CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT TO DO!"

There had been multiple attempts to ban Stormfront, the website of KKK members but it kept coming back because it managed to find servers.

Trying to get rid of the KKK is like trying to get rid of The Mafia. They are both organized criminal rackets who constantly reorganize and strategize. Like I said, corrupt people always plan for the long term.
