Where do you look for high quality and appealing pictures for your commercial blog?

you always look online but if the images are copyrighted you can look for public domain pictures, or take your own. screen caps from video would qualify as your own picture wouldn't it?

My advise regarding photographs for your blogs is to always use your own pictures. Never use the photographs you find in the internet for you may be charged with copyright infringement. What if your blog gets viral and then you are charged with a case?

i use google image and my own creation, if I know adobe I will create for myself but I have no idea so I take it from google and edit the pic

I pick images from pixabay as its free and safe and some sites also recommend pixabay for the contents and blogs, i like pixabay images because its match my search

Well the most of time I use Google, AlphaCoders, They enough for me. But sometime I visit some other sites.

Normally I don't have personal interest in this sites. So, I use most of the other sites too

i do look at free image hosting services (as noone remembers are posting there) Eg : imagur, or if i know what kind of picture i want i also do look google imgaes, and definatly i do buy some images.

I used to be able to use photoshop too, and used to create a blend of the images that I'd find online. But I am out of practice. If you can use photoshop though, that is always a good idea to get unique images.

Most of the time, I use my own images. I have a decent camera and some good software that I can manage using. I can make some images with the software or use it to edit my photos. I like having unique stuff and not having to worry about accidentally using something I shouldn't.

Pixabay is a great site, but your image won't be unique. With those kinds of sites, you still have to worry about whether or not someone else stole an image and put it up there as their own. I'm sure they try to make sure that doesn't happen, but I doubt that they can check every single image 100%.

Putting images in blogs is very disturbing things because you can't always share your original or unique you have to download it from Google so this not work fine for blog

I usually take my own photos, but if I don't have one, then I go to Pixabay.com or Morguefile.com. They have great selection of photographs and i put the credit below the post. I am always crediting my photos. It is the basic rule when you are writing online.

That's called a "derivative work" and it is still considered copyright infringement in some cases. You have to find out what rights the owner has to the image. In some cases, you can use an image only after altering it. In other cases, you need permission to use it at all.

Also, you can still be sued for using an image without permission even if you attribute the work.

I prefer using my pictures and I'm using photoshop and a high tech DSLR to take my pictures but if you just want to use stock images then try using freepik.com. They also have vector images there.

I use Morguefile as I found some lovely pictures there that I used when I wrote articles. Sometimes I use my own pictures but there are plenty of sites now where you can get non copyright pics.

I sometimes use pictures my husband has taken, because I'm useless with the camera and he takes gorgeous ones Otherwise I too swear by Pixabay and MorgueFile. They both have a wide selection of beautiful pictures that you can use without any fear of copyright infringement. I also used to use Google images until someone told me those ones are very risky.

I just search them up on Google Images and which everyone, I like, I just add it and most of the time it works well, sometimes they're Low quality though.

I used bing or google for images, the images I use are not the kind anyone could really claim as their own. they can claim the picture but the image they cannot that's why its hard to have a hold on it. if I took a picture of a magazine cover how could you know its your from hundreds of others that took the same picture unless it was unique.

i go for pixabay and freedigitalphotos.net which provide good quality images and free to use too
