I have a a blog on blogger and it is free, and I am using adsense. What they reqire is that your blogs are informative and very well written, and that you have visitors. They are quite strict when it comes to giving approval for adsense.

They approve to monetize the free blogs, only the requirement is to have huge traffic and the content to be very interesting for catch as much traffic as possible.

off course if you have blogspot or wordpress you can easily apply for adsense and according to google adsense rules and TOS you fullfil there criteria you can get approve at once

As far as I am aware, they will approve free blogs, yes. All of the blogs that I have are free, and I was approved by Google Adsesnse, but this was years ago that I was approved so I don't know if it might have changed or not.

I have read somewhere that Adsense is now strict in approving new accounts with them. The submitted website is inspected before giving the approval. But free sites are okay with Adsense, they don't discriminate.

As much as I know Adsense don't approve account if you are using paid blog or anything. As long as You have a good traffic on your blog you can easily apply for adsense. But remember they are very strict

Yes they may accept but you need to have an older blog with lots of back links. After you earn some dollar Ita better to try premium domain like .com to make a good impression among visitors and AdSense.

I think every blog can apply in google adsense but the best way is to create blogger. I think blogger is affliated with google adsense so you can see that you can earn from your blog through blogger. I have tried applying in google adsense using my tumblr account but was not approved simply because of the lack of context and articles on my blog.

Yes they may accept ,but if you have a huge traffic and good content If it can be old blog and so you will not have problems in accepting.

yes that is true I created a new blog and I did not qualify they also require that your blog be active for at least 6 months to activate. if you can get all of those things good luck, the active part I think you can swing maybe 1 or 2 post every week or 2 weeks .

Whether your blog is free hosted or paid is not the criteria for Adsense approval, the main criteria are type of contents (no contents on alcohol, weapons, drugs, porn), gets good traffic from legitimate sources and number of contents. As long as you follow these points, you will surely be approved.

It is much harder to get an adsense account than it used to be and every time google do an update they become more strict about the content. They want good grammar and accurate spelling as well as interesting content. When I worked on WebAnswers I saw many people refused but the good news is you can apply more than once.

Can you tell me how much adsense gives us for a free blog ?? i don't think it's a good amount
