In paid-to-post forums, you can earn $5 per day on a 2 to 3 hours of work. Just make sure that your posts have substance and related to the thread's topic. Also, never post short comments because forum owners hate that.

Well I had a reply from Postloop who said it was fine to post for no points but it would be an idea to ask the forum owner if they would temporarily drop the rating so that I could earn. I've now done this and I'm awaiting a reponse from them.

I have account on this forum, and just submitted 10 review posts. If you managed to get accepted you can earn more than here. However, in order to be accepted your language skills need to be better.

They said my english grammar and post length was good but I should start new threads now.

It is not so complicated once you get into the swing of things. Also, you should wait ten minutes between each post on one forum, because if you post a lot of posts on one forum at once, you don't get as many points for each post. Just a heads up.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't able to get back to you. I meant to contact the owner of that forum directly (you can usually click on the little icon that gives you the site description to find the owner or the owner's contact info... for future reference). I hope it works out for you. Good luck. :D

Yesterday I asked Postloop to delete my account because one forum owner gave me such a low rating that I cannot cash out. They didn't really give a reason apart from I hadn't followed instructions and I have no idea which forum it came from.

When I asked Postloop to delete my account they tried to talk me out of it and on checking this morning I notice it has only been suspended. Is that the same as deleted?

Really? You should be able to at least know from which forum the rating came and which rules you have broken (if any).
Don't give up yet. You can ask for clarification to the forum owner.

I'll copy paste something from the FAQs, as I can't paste the direct link, so please, ForumCoin mods, don't give me a thumbs down for this since it's a "copy+paste". I'm just trying to help a member out.

What do I do if I receive a rating that I feel is unfair?

"If you received a rating from a forum owner which you think is unfair or if you need clarification on the rating, the first thing that you should do is ask for clarification on the rating from the forum owner. You can do this directly on your ratings received page. Click on the "comments" count next to the rating in question and leave your feedback. The forum owner will receive the comment and has the option to respond to it, but they are not required to do so. If you are unable to receive any feedback or adjustment from the forum owner, you will need to wait for the rating to expire. There is no need to contact Postloop in the event of an unfair rating. Postloop management reviews all ratings that are given and act on any that are given in an unfair manner. "

I was really upset and angry because I couldn't think of anything I had done wrong but the forum owner gave me a rating of 1 which means I can't even cash out because you have to have to to meet the average rating which is higher than I had. I went from 4 to 2.50. I did ask what I had done wrong but received no reply. I asked Postloop to delete my account but they strangely enough tried to talk me out of it. I notice it is now suspended. Is that the same as deleted? Anyway I am now waiting to hear from Paid Forum Posting which looks quite interesting. Moving swiftly on .. no good crying over spilt milk as they say.

Postloop should reprehend/scold the forum admin. Would you like to share what forum are you talking about or has you said before, you are still not sure? I though you would be able to know who gave you the rating. I only have one rating given to me, and that I know it's from Postloop itself because it ends with "welcome to Postloop" but it's true that if it weren't for that little detail and if I was participating in a lot of forums, I wouldn't be able to know who gave me the rating.

Your situation is unfair...

I had subscribed to 3 forums but I have no idea which one gave me the rating. One of them I had joined only the day before, it was called CancerCrew so perhaps it was that one. I may well have done something wrong but it wasn't deliberate and I've never ever had this kind of comment from a forum before so it came as a shock. I don't think I would want to go back because I would be too nervous that it might happen again. I'm not upset now .. I will just put it down to experience.

Thank you for trying to help though :)

There are lots and lots of unfair situations with ratings on PL. They say that they have a review team who automatically review all of the 1 ratings, but most of the 1 ratings are not changed.

Sprite, I know that one. It's always active. But the rules are ridiculous and that's why I've never joined that particular forum.

They have this in the description (among other rules) :
"Make 4 NEW TOPICS and 1 reply.
DO NOT CREATE more than 1 New Topic on each forum or subforum every 24 hours"

And at the bottom "Please follow the rules, We are really strict! Or we will rate you low! "

So if you replied twice in the same day, that could be a reason for the bad rating, although it doesn't make sense.
I would stay away from this one.

Yeah, the ratings can be the worst thing about PL. Go back and look at the description/rules of the sites you joined. You may find the issue. You can check by clicking the "i" icon next to each listing on your subscription page. Sometimes, it's just a little thing, but some of the owners are pretty demanding. It might help to ask the owner what you can do to improve your rating (although some of them don't bother to answer).

Often, it's just because they want more new threads than replies. It could also be something as simple as not adding an avatar. I hope you can get it worked out.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I stay away from any that get too happy with their rules. If they start out by "threatening" you, it's probably not worth joining. I've seen excellent writers get bad ratings from some of these people.

Yes that would explain it then but it's too late now because I've asked Postloop to delete my account, which they did. I'm not at all bothered now. I hope I will hear from Paid Forum Posting today some time but who knows .. it's an uncertain world this online writing :?

It can be very discouraging. Joining a new forum can be very daunting too. I will often join a new forum and just make 4 posts to get my points up, without having to worry about my rating being affected. I also ask forum owners ahead of posting on their forum what I can do to get a 5 rating, and when they respond, I can get a feel for what type of person they are and if they will stick to their word or not. If I feel like they are just telling me what they think I want to hear, or are too strict, or are dismissive, then I make sure I don't make 5 posts on their forum.

If you tried to setup multiple accounts, that is probably why it did not work. Once you are rejected once, Ryan says that you don't get another shot, and he can unfortunately tell that you are someone who has already been rejected through the IP address.

Can they really tell through your IP address because I used to work for a site called Traffic Micro and I noticed that if I reset my router for any reason they would send a message telling me my IP address had changed.
