Exactly, and most forums have moderators who keep helping the admin with site dutoes. If they help, why does he or she have to be active all time..

An admin needs to be proactive so as to answer any query by the users. The person should be active to keep the site running properly and orderly.

Without an active admin no forum can be a success. Regarding any dispute it is admin who is needed to respond fast and accurately.

The fact that an admin is not active or even slow to respond to members complaints or requests sends out negative messages to members. It could mean that their interest in the site is declining and they do not consider their site worthy of their time. Personally I would be wary of working on such a site. I would try to reach payout and take away my money ASAP.

True spammers have a hey day when admins are not around. Trolls too mess around with sites that aren't hawk eyed by admins.
Admins are the soul of a site , the uniting force who keep every thing on track. It is going to be a tough site to work on if the admin is laid back.

That is way almost all making content sites don't allow autoposting. They are always target of spamers or they go into scam.

Yes, I feel being an Admin, he certainly needs to be active that the T&C of the forum are being strictly adhered to. Besides being a strict taskmaster, he should also come across as a friendly bloke, who besides giving warnings should also indulge in some friendly discussions, and should also help out other forum members requiring assistance.

If you own a site, you should be active on your site. If you are not active, your site might be prone to hackers and spammers.

As an admin, even though you cannot be acive 24 hours always, you have to make sure that you can be more engaged with everything. Even with the concerns of the users or followers of the site.

Like said above, you don't need to be on there 24/7. However, you should try to stay active on your site when you can to ensure it isn't being filled with spam/bad content and that everyone is having a good time.

Not the most active but they should be active to answer questions asked by the users of the website and to help them in case any problem arise. Good staff also helps the admin because staff can answer the questions too.

Indeed. The admin must focus on addressing the issue encountered by their member or users so that these users can remain active. Ignoring the clients might disappoint them and probably encourage them to quit the forum site.
