If you tried to setup multiple accounts, that is probably why it did not work. Once you are rejected once, Ryan says that you don't get another shot, and he can unfortunately tell that you are someone who has already been rejected through the IP address.

Can they really tell through your IP address because I used to work for a site called Traffic Micro and I noticed that if I reset my router for any reason they would send a message telling me my IP address had changed.
I imagine they (like us) have other ways to detect people setting up multiple accounts who change their IP's. It isn't impossible to avoid being detected but it isn't necessarily easy and can result in being detected later on.

It depends. Some people have static IP addresses, which stay the same no matter how long you turn the router off for. And other people have dynamic IP addresses, which will and can change.

I have no idea how he does it, but Ryan (the owner of PostLoop) doesn't seem to have any trouble busting people. I've seen it happen multiple times. So, I wouldn't suggest trying to get by him. If they do temporarily, they'll just lose any money they may have accumulated when he does catch on.

If only people spent half the time doing honest work that they spend trying to scam...

If you have a dynamic IP adress and know how to change it, then I see no reason why you'd be detected. But if you have a static IP address, you would do better to do your best trying to get accepted with PL. Ryan is very strict and stubborn. I have had a few arguments with him.

I agree, people waste time doing all that only to get themselves banned! It's just weird. Plus, Ryan is very clever at sniffing out all the cheaters and flushing them out. He really does seem to stay on top of it, and nothing seems to get past him. I've seen people try to get one over him, and they never do. Like DreekLass says, he's very stubborn and very strict, doesn't back down!

It is like people who use blackhat methods when it comes to internet marketing. But at the time, these people think they are doing something good, or something that will benefit them. But in the long run it will just get them banned. And Google isn't stupid. It recognizes black hat methods.

yeah I know but there aren't so many that get me interested. I don't mind making less money.
11 forums is a ton  The maximum I will ever do is 2 or 3 probably. I don't want to dedicate a whole amount of time going around forums.
For me right now, this is only a test.
I appreciate your feedback and you do earn a decent amount of money. Very decent in fact. Keep it up ;)

It's a pleasure, CTx :) Congratulations on getting through. Just do what feels right to you. Some people work with just a couple of forums, and they're quite happy with that. I had the 11 forums when i first started and didn't have so many other sites to work on. -and you're right, there's no point joining forums which don't interest you. I just go with those I know I'll be able to contribute something to and learn something from :)

Are you talking about Postloop as a site, or attempting to apply more than once?

I haven't used it to promote my blogs, but tried to enroll as a worker. Failed their test twice and gave up..They hardly accept Asians.

I don't think it would be a very good source for promoting your blogs. While there are a few forums that allow links in certain areas or in sigs, not all of them do. I think many of them would ban you if they thought you were only using their sites for self-promotion.

I don't think it has anything to do with your race. I'm Asian and I was accepted on my first try.

Yeah, I was going to say, if a person fails the "test" that's why s/he didn't get accepted. I haven't seen any issues with people not being accepted for other reasons, especially race.

Actually i was thinking of registering in postloop but after going through this thread, now i am in a dilemma whether to join or not in that site as i came to understand that they are very strict and expect high knowledge and grammer from the members and we need to overcome all the 10 tests .So i dont think my knowledge or grammer is upto their expectations and it is doubtful whether i will pass all the tests . But still i can test my luck .So decided to sign up today. Next week my fate will be known. :D

I would have to agree with you. Unfortunately, many of the forum owners don't want to pay for points and your post, only for you to be profiting out of it with promotion in your sigs, which is up to them. But if I was a forum owner, I'd spread the earnings.

Most forums probably earn a lot less than you think. You might find that when you pay your hosting and other costs, that there aren't any earnings to spread.

I didn't mean spread the earnings , literally. I meant I wouldn't see anything wrong with spreading the prosperity. I strongly believe in the law of attraction. When you are focused on what you don't have, you attract more situations where you don't have what you want. When you focus on abundance, whether it is your own or for others, abundance has no other option but to show up in your life experience. If it was not hurting me, I'd allow certain members - the ones that had stuck around with my forum - to promote their links in their sig's. It's nice to see people do well and to help them out, you know?

I honestly don't blame them for keeping it to a minimum, because too many people abuse things, but I do see your point. Allowing select, loyal, members to do so as a privilege or perk might be reasonable. I could see making such a request to certain owners.

I don't blame the ones that do allow it, for keeping it to a minimum too, otherwise you'd just get people who wanted promotion signing up and not sticking around long. I have been with certain forums for years now, and even if I wanted to I still would not be able to have a sig.

If you try to register as a forum owner, I do not have an idea on that. But, if you try as a content writer, you are going to have a tough time. It is really difficult to get through.
