I have used closed groups and open groups. They're both good.

I occasionally participate in blog exchange but I would usually make my own search outside social media. Meaning, I would randomly comment on other blog posts.

Does it mean that if you don't comment on other blogs you don't get others to comment on yours? Me I simply leave readers to decide. Quality content is my target not comments. Once a post has traffic, that is all I need.

People will only comment on your blog if they like (or hate) your blog and your blog posts. You just cannot get your readers to post comments on your blog if your posts don't interest them. One way to get your readers to post comment on your blog is to offer them some incentive. You can join Microworkers for this.

When Neil Patel talks, the whole blogging world listens.
I am going to quote him and refer y'all to his blog post for additional details.

PER MR. PATEL:
“When I averaged out comments per post, I found that the overall word count on each page with comments went up, which helped my traffic numbers for Google. “

“As for my current posts, I leave the comments turned on.

That’s because I see a few benefits that comments can add to my site.

Here’s a quick list of the best ones.”

Check out his list here: https://neilpatel.com/blog/blogging-without-comments/

I am a follower of Neil Patel and I learned a lot of things regarding blogging and marketing from his posts and videos. He is indeed very successful in his filed and it's worth listening to his pieces of advice.

Blog commenting worked in the past. When you left comments on other blogs, the blog owners would reciprocate. However, these days blog commenting is just a waste of time.

There is so much to learn from Neil Patel. I was recently suggest to use ubber suggest a keyword research tool developed by patel. This is one of the most useful keyword tools I have ever used.

I think the best way you can use the market place here to pay people a little FC to post on your site's. By so doing you would get many visitors to your site.

I'm sorry to report that the majority of the comments I get, I have to delete because they are spam. Even though that's extra work to go through and individually delete them, I still leave my posts open for comments.

These days the only way you can get good comments is by engaging in comment exchange or hiring people through forums to make comments.

Yeah. I have a friend who uses CommentsLuv. That's a great plugin. I don't use it on my blogs because I can't afford it. There is a free version but I've never used it. https://sourceforge.net/software/product/CommentLuv/
