Re: What's your favourite social?

@cmoneyspinner Twitter is the one I use with celebrities. Reddit is the one I use for TV shows that I watch because I want to discuss what happened each episode. If I posted that in Mylot, the reply I will get is either thanks for sharing or I don't watch that show and never will.

I am active on lots of social media so if I did a list it would Noise.Cash, then Twitter, and then Facebook.

I would have really liked to be active on Noise.cash, but since it hasn't worked well for me, I've stopped going to the site. I once in a while go to twitter, it's my least likable social media.

Noise.Cash was working well for me and if I can ever get it to work well again, it will move back up to the top of ,y faves list. Forum Coin stays on my list of for favorites because it has been consistent since I joined in 2017.

I'm sorry you didn't benefit from noise.cash. Surely, you joined when the rewards became lower. The current noise.cash can't reward us as before.

WHY? Did they make another major change to the Rewards/Tipping feature?

We are receiving very few rewards, up to 1/5 compared to what we have been used to receive until last week :( .

Ps.: I entered in the noise.cash page again today and discovered the few hearts we see, is not all the time few tips. 1 heart may have an interesting value, due to I received 1 dollar after my last post and some comments. There is a very new tips environment, so we can't see things about rewards as we saw before

@Pousinha, it's the tipping system that I find quite difficult to earn on Noise.cash. People like your posts, but we have to rely on other members to get paid.

This is true. But if Twitter ever implements Bitcoin tipping, it will be the same thing. You will get tipped if people like your tweets. It's about social engagement.

I am going to try to be more active on Beer Money Forum as they now pay in Bitcoin Cash. They are similar to Forum Coin in that you earn a set amount of points for your posts. So you know how many posts you need to do to earn enough to redeem points for Bitcoin Cash.

It's like with Forum Coin. I know 10 posts a day for about 45 days will get me 500 coins and I will trade them for $5 USD via PayPal. I know I can earn quicker if I write articles.

It's true, dear friend, but thanks God I didn't find difficulties: the communities I attend are friendly and people like my posts. In addition, I'm a teacher and writer, so I easily find new writings ideas. In any way, you don't need to be a writer: if you like flowers, animals and natural landscapes, your own photos would make success. There are also Christian channels where we find a friendly environment. We make mew friends in addition to the earnings.

Well now that I got my Noise.Cash account back, it's back on my Top 5 Faves List of Social Networks.

You are right. You don't have to be a writer. I share links to recipes cause I like food!

@Pousinha, you're correct on that, it's not necessary to be a writer for being successful on Noise.cash. And, it isn't that hard to get likes and make your readers happy there.

But, it's not about getting likes on our posts. It's about depending on other users for getting paid, in the form of "Tip". And when their system is built like that, no matter how actively we write awesome posts, or get numerous likes, if nobody is willing to tip you, then there'll be nil earning.

Of a truth, it was the Free Tips that attracted me to Noise.Cash. I was like "Wait! You're giving me tips to tip???" That sounded crazy but it actually worked! I liked that I could tip others for their content and did not have to use my money to get started. It was not receiving the tips that gave me the incentive. It was the fact that I was "empoered" to reward others.

But my activity on Noise.Cash is no different than what I do on Facebook or Twitter. I figure that IF I stayed with those social media sites for years and did not earn for my content ... I might as well try a platform where there is a possibility that I might earn. I've got nothing to lose by trying it. It has worked out for me.

By the way, the tipping concept has worked so well that even Twitter is trying to come up with a way for users to get tipped.

Dear friend, I understand. Unfortunately, along my 11 years and 7 months of online jobs, I never found a single site where to publish whose requirements were only our writing skills and not the other users' approval. Better said: not any site concerning the languages I'm fluent. The only few sites where we don't depend on other users' approval require very long texts, mother tongue level English and sometimes to be resident in the USA or Canada. And I don't meet those requirements, unfortunately. That's one of the reasons I stick with noise.cash and similar platforms.

@Pousinha - Yes. I understand your logic. When you think about it, user approval has always been required. UNLESS you write for a publication and they agree to pay you a set amount for article. Otherwise, if you publish a monetized blog and no matter how good your content is, if there are no readers (users), you're talking to yourself and not earning anything. My first writing job was based on PPV (Pay Per View). A viewer (user) held the key to my prosperity! Getting tips from users for your content on Noise.Cash? To me, it's the same thing!

This happened to a friend of mine. He had a completely deserted blog, until he finally quit. In addition to zero earnings, as he is Italian and lives in Italy, he ran the risk of being questioned by a tax officer why he didn't open a VAT. He hasn't any condition to open the shamefully 4000 euros worth Italian VAT (compulsory for Italian resident bloggers), nor to pay an accountant compulsory fees. Lot of people in the same conditions, whatever the country, by far prefer ptws tasks as noise.cash publishing. In my case, I'm not bothered at all about user approval, until the environment of the social goes on being good.

For business purposes, it's Twitter. For personal use, I prefer Pinterest - it might sound strange, but it's an app that I can easily use to actually add value to my life. I also like forums such as Reddit, too.
