I don't quite like black theme I'd prefer light or neutral. Black theme doesn't look appealing enough to me.

I prefer a light theme. Dark is too depressing. Though I have a friend with dyslexia and she prefers reading white print on a black background.

Dark isn't depressing, unless it is presented that way. Dark can also be edgy. It doesn't have to be about being depressed or sad.
