Re: Do you delete cookies?

I try to clear out everything including cache, history and cookies as often as once a week. I hate that if you don't, it can slow down your computer.

I'm definitely not in the best habit of doing it like I use to be. But when I think about it, I do clear everything so that the sites that I use start to work properly again.

I have to delete cookies often because I believe that those cookies in my device can keep track of my web browser activities !

Finally, I moved to Ubuntu and forgot about all Windows problems which I had had before. Now I don't care about cookies.

I'm now thinking about deleting the cookies and all. Maybe I'll be doing it in a few days when I'm ready to give a fresh start to my phone.

I deleted all of my app data on my phone once by mistake, and had to go to the bank to reinstall my internet banking. :(

I do it once a month so I will experience less lags on my browsers because I have tendencies to get screen freeze.

No,I don't. If there is anything sensitive I'm working with,it is better to do it incognito which itself takes care of deletion of browsing history including cookies.I don't think deleting cookies makes browser more responsive as they are small bits of data(probably a few kbs).

If you use CCleaner, it has a "smart cookie deletion" option so that you can choose which cookies to save when you purge them. It comes in handy so that you can get rid of unnecessary cookies that might be tracking you but save others that you need for sites that you use on a regular basis.

Ccleaner is an awesome tool hands down and that too free.It can really get rid of browser junk in a jiffy and it is better to use it rather than going on with the interfaces of different browsers.

It's a law that websites should notify their visitors about their cookie policy.
Anyways, cookies are online trackers, it's good to delete them from time to time.
Sometimes, I'd go incognito so that when I close the browser, the cookies are deleted as well.

Cookies are typically text files that can provide information about your browsing behavior to websites that you visit. On one hand, they are useful for making your Internet experience more efficient. But on the other hand, they are part of the advertising ecosystem that knows which advertisements are most likely to draw your attention, and they serve them up to you wherever you visit.
