i think using the captcha before making any replay or before signup in any site can reduce the spam a little , or you can search about a good plugin for spammer in any script you use ;) :)

I don't have a specific method. I usually ban them and them move their spam-posts or spam-topics to the trash. Pretty easy, right? :D

The best method is you have the responsible Mods. They mus work hard, read all topics, all posts, and warning or banning the members who always spam.

To dealing with spamming you should give authority to some active members who see the posts and delete the unnecessary one topics

I would say that they are not spam, because that is what the topic is asking for. There are times when a short post is appropriate, and is all that is needed to make a point or post a comment. It's not always clear cut and there are grey areas. Even experienced admins who deal with lots of posts will sometimes make a mistake and classify a post as spam when it isn't or leave a post on the forum that really is spam and should be removed.

Well, that's what happens where you're only human. ;)

I think "thanks for sharing" or "I agree" and similar comments are fine, but only if they are followed by more info. Just add another quick sentence or two or three, explaining why you are thankful or why you agree. It's not that hard, and it makes the forum much better.

I don't think I'd be in a hurry to give members such authority. I do think that we members can do our part to help the admins by reporting (and downvoting if you have the capability) the spam posts. With so many members and posts, they can't always keep track of everything in real time. If they get a report, they know who to look at.

Are you an admistrator of a Forum? It is a hard thing to do? I know the topic is not about this but I am thinking about creating a Forum and I want some opinions :)

I have some points about how to deal with spammers :
1- use anti-spam plugins.

2- Don’t allow editing of comments after a few minutes have passed.

3-Ask members to help out moderators and report for any spammers.

4- ban spammers and delete all their content.

5- use CAPTCHA in registering new members.

First Warning after ban.
I agree what you said and captcha can be useful to avoid some spammers
