Agreed. It's not only bad for the site, it's also wrong. It is stealing. People tend to do this often not only with written work but also with images. You can't just take whatever you want and post it as your own.

There are quite a few tools for checking plagiarism these days, so yes, it's easy to tell. It may not be as easy for the person who has had their work stolen to find out where it has been used. There is also the fact that the original creator and the site using the stolen work will likely get penalized by google for not having original content. The creator of the content gets a double whammy, so people should stop doing it.

Yes this is true but sometimes some people who loves copy pasting knows how to revise and rumble the words for it to be undetected. It's easy to revise an article/poem or post in forums though. I just hope that it won't happen here =/ I will be unhappy if it does
