I am used to reading articles, published researches that are usually long and without pics. So, I wouldn't mind reading a post without pics but I love ot when my eyes and mind has something to picture the words out. So pictures on my blog is a must.

That's wise. I don't even post photos of my private life on Facebook, but I'm often surprised by how many people post lots of photos with their profile set to public.

I don't like photos of myself either. Photography is one of my hobbies, but I hate to be in front of a camera. Fortunately I only need to post photos of my trees on my blog, not photos of me.

There are bloggers who seldom upload pictures on their blogs making them look like academic essays. Its recommended that a standard 500 word blog should have 2 images uploaded to present a professional look. Embedding them in the body of the blog works best.

* * Yes I upload images. I try to use the "standard" you mentioned. It makes it easier when sharing links via social media because when you post the link, the interface usually draws in the image as well. Ever since Pinterest, most websites and blogs try to include images. However, there are some established sites that don't. But it's because they are "established", that is they already have a good reputation and don't need to attract visitors with pretty pictures. They have a loyal audience.

In my opinion you should write every post with more than 600 words and a few images in it. A post without any related image does not seem interesting. I do the same for my blog.

I agree that having relevant images is important.

I have to ask why you settled on 600 for your word count. Is that just what you're comfortable with or is there a specific reason behind this amount? I ask because everyone seems to have a different number.

Yes. Its a easy way to explain some ideas and post in blog. I used some ads pics and some other pic in my blog to some download of application..

Yes I upload pictures on my blog. If you link SumoMe with your blog, then you can use your pictures to draw traffic to your blog if you share the pictures.

Agreed . Just people need to make sure they are not over doing it like you said. We want our blog/website to look as clean as possible as that is for the best for the viewers/readers.
