Re: Have you used any free webhosting site

Free hosting will make your sites load very slow because there are thousands of sites hosted on one server. Free hosting has limited bandwidth, disk space and php features.

Absolutely. I have heard that Blogger is the worst for shutting down sites without notice. If you get too popular, if you're making money, or if they just decide they don't like your blog for any reason or none at all. Yeah, being at their mercy won't work for a blog that you are actually putting effort into.

Exactly, thisnthat! I also heard that it could be complicated to move content across to a paid web host later down the line. It just didn't sit well with me as it sounded shady and unreliable. So I bit the bullet and paid up.

Yes, there's that too. And readers don't like sites that take forever to load. I have personally given up and not returned to sites like that.

Weebly was one of the ones they suggested (although it does place its own ad). They mentioned a couple of others as well. Some don't do ads but they may require you to purchase a domain (which looks more professional than blogspot. or whatever after your name).

Have you just open a new blog for your blogger? Or did they allow that, one site being closed and start a new one with the same account?
I just want to start two blog there. One is for Amazon associate and one is my affiliate network. Dont know other free Stuff that allow these, and even allow placing ads for monetize of CPM or CPC ?
Thx

@jackchun...no, I have absolutely no experience whatsoever with free webhosts. I have only ever had one blog, my current one, and that one's paid for. I hope someone with firsthand experience comes along and answers your question :)

If you want to build an Amazon affiliate site, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Why risk doing it on Blogger and getting shut down again? Do some research on the free hosting services or cheap hosting. Some of the free ones allow affiliates and can be upgraded easily if your site takes off. I suggest having a look at services like Weebly and others that are similar if you're set on free hosting.

Thx!
I have search "blogger Amazon associate" in Google and found that blogger has some strictly regulations though Amazon associate links are allowed!

They talked about affiliate marketing and affiliate networking, only affiliate networking is allowed but not affiliate marketing!
And talked about spam host etc and make money program are not allowed in blogger!

Hope someone can help for its meaning!
Thx!
