You're always free to spread the word about this issue.

I'm interested in finding out what you would consider a fair limit to freedom of speech?

Before posting any comment, if we think twice and post a comment, we will be safe. So long as our post does not affect or hurt anyone or their sentiments , we will not land in any troubles.

It's not an issue of free speech if it amounts to libel or defamation. You can't say untrue, defamatory things about people and then cry "free speech" when they take legal action. The forum owner could have been sued as well.

When you break the law, you don't get to hide behind anonymity or "privacy." Your name and info can and often will be given out, especially if asked by law enforcement, and especially if the owner could face legal action himself if he doesn't hand over your info.

I didn't see what was said, but for it to be considered libel/defamation, it must have been ugly. You can call somebody a jerk or whatever, but you can't make up stories about them or say things that can seriously hurt their reputation.

We'll have the freedom of speech :D
We however need to watch what we say because it's not tolerated to say whatever you want ...
Freedom of speech is such a bullshit term x'D
Only the media itself is allowed to have such a thing, other humans, forget it :(

I agree, removal and banning a user is okay but a legal lawsuit is too much. But it makes sense in the internet etiquette. :D

i think i should be. People on the internet were shamelessly do nasty stuffs in the internet because they believe that they're anonymous and powerful. some people should learn there lesson and don't take advantage on others.
