Oh yeah I notice this also! It's annnoying. They should use AI to detect PC users
and they will know a PC users does not want or need the app.
That would be a lot more easy.

Yes, that's true. That's why sometimes I have to waste much more time on my PC than it is deserved. Why do people create such ugly designs? That's strange and weird of them! They just need to find a good designer, who would create a fancy adaptive and responsive design.

I rarely surf the internet via phone because of the annoying "please download our app" walls that blocks my surfing experience. PC doesn't have that problem.

Haha, this is so true but it does make sense for them to advertise it as much as possible. They can get your data better with the app and it will also mean you are more likely to read their content

And now I just encounter a news article with Paywall so I can read it. Not only they want me to download an app they want me to pay for a single article.

It is indeed annoying to see those ads when we are in the middle of reading something interesting. Usually, I look for the close button when I encounter any kind of pop up ad, and if there isn't any then I simply get out of that website. I don't want to waste my time to something that I'll never get to even see properly. And it's a big no for me, if it tries to open a new window when closing.

News site I understand you want to spy on my personal information but please stop asking me this over and over again when I already agreed with your terms so I can read your damn article.

Yeah lol your point does make sense because, if I was interested in downloading the app, I would have done that and I wouldn't be on the website, but anyways that's a way of promoting the app that they have created by putting in a lot of effort

I tell you a simple trick if those stubborn things don't get caught by adblockers. If you are on Firefox,
just type about:config on url bar and then search for permissions.default.default.image key and set it to 2.Then open the article (or if it is open refresh the page)and read it peacefully.Revert it back to original value of 1 and the images will again come in.

To make it worst sometimes it opens the app store when you click the x button. I disabled my appstore because of it. I only enable the appstore if I want to download an app.

Yeah I feel the same way, but I just download the app anyway because to me it's definitely better than going out to buy printed news paper. Bit it would be much better if those annoying notifications boxes are covered by Adblock. :?

Stop surfing browsers with my phone, I leave that to my PC so I don't need to encounter these force install paywalls.

Perhaps, try using popup blocker so you won't get annoyed or turn off the notifications of news sites you subscribed.
