I am only using social networking sites for promoting my contents, however, I am thinking to use social book marking sites as well. Social bookmarking sites are content discovery platforms and if you o it properly you can get a lot of traffic.

I was browsing through my referral sources and found visits from the site. Yes, I have placed my links there. Does anyone from the group know about this site?

Not heard about Mix before, but after checking found that it is a website which is concerned with content discovery. It claims that it provides a modern and elegant way to discover the best content and its mission is to connect the curious with the creative.

Yes, it was more popularly known as Stumble Upon. I use the site to share articles. But currently, I am not actively sharing on the site.

Is it owned by the same person? Or is it a improved version of stumble upon. I hardly got much traffic from the Stumbleupon even though I had bookmarked a number of my articles on the site. If I remember right it was like you visit someones site and they would return the favour. Once in a while you would get some traffic. I hope this is much better than stumble upon.

I'd never even heard of it before. I just checked it out and I like the interface. I definitely want to learn more, especially if they allow us to promote our content/blogs on there and just how popular it is. I'll have a proper look over the next few days. Thanks for sharing

I was on StumbleUpon and not aware that the site closed out, just now. I don't know about Mix. I have not heard about it until now. I use SU sharing my post on BlogJob before.

I didn't know it changed over from StumbleUpon. I never did get around to joining SU, I think because I heard the site could be very strict. So far, how are you finding the experience? Have your followers translated to real traffic to your site?

Yes I got some traffic from there , but still fb is my main source of traffic .
