Keep in mind if you have trouble thinking up new ideas, why not get a Guest Blogger? Start out by reading other blogs until you find someone you think would contribute and then just ask them.

It depends on what kind of blog it is. If it is something more of a personal consumption then I would not worry about updating or maintaining it. Anything can happen and go in there but if other people are reading it then I would take much time to create posts that the readers would find useful and would keep coming back.

Wow! That's a lot of blogs, lol. I definitely couldn't keep up with that many (probably not even half that many). My "micro" blogs on blog job don't require the same time commitment that my "real" blog does, but still. That's a lot of work.

It does take a lot of work, but I try not to stress too much about it. I only blog (write) when I am free anyway. I feel bad when I can't write, but I need to prioritize my full-time job anyway. Although I have to admit that I didn't realize how much effort it would take to make money out of blogging.

Creating content for my blog isn't too bad. I tend to create multiple posts as one sitting and then schedule the publishing dates out over the week or month depending on how many posts I created.

Most of the time I spend is spent promoting my blog.

The hardest part of having the necessary time, is coming up with what you want to write about quickly. Since my blog is about blogging and tips to help people become proficient, reading this forum is a good part of my research to find new topics. If I find a related question here, I go find the answer online then post a comment to answer it, then go to my blog and expand on that. If your blog was about child raising, you should be spending time in a forum where those kind of questions come up.

Yes, my blog take all my time. Sometimes I am blogging for 7 hours and the shortest hours that I was blogging was last night as I had done that for 3 hours. If I am focus on writing my blog, without new tabs for social network, I can finish it in a short time.

I did not keep up to date my own blog, hence the earning is slow. I spend more time on Blogjob and Bubblews than my own blog. I think it is the earning and traffic that drove me away from my own site

So now that Bubbblews is not paying, do you ever wish you would have kept up with your own blog?

When you are blogging frequently, I find that looking for the perfect pictures to use with your posts, can be very time consuming. Pinterest is great for images, but finding the right image can be long.

I mostly create my own images, mainly taking my own photos. That's part of what takes up a lot more time than I thought it would. Snap a pic and go, right? Not so much. It all has to be set up just so, and then get the perfect pic, perfect size, upload it, crop it, etc.

It sounds more like an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder with perfection. I think of images on my blog are just eye candy anyway, so it doesn't look so boring. I use a lot of Pixabay images, but it still requires downloading, cropping, resizing and uploading to my gallery. I just don't fret over making it perfect, so it doesn't take long.

Having a blog is a full time job. Especially if you are putting up original content. Also taking good professional photos for my blog takes up alot of time. I can check it 100 times minimum after putting up a new post just to monitor the traffic, also to view and reply to the comments flooding in. I do not update it when I have other things on my plate because I will not get any work done therefore I have days for blogging and days to do other work.

What do you mean? If you're talking on updating or writing a new post in your blog, it depends on the length of your post. But if you are talking about the loading of your blog, it is dependent on the contents of your blog. If it has so many pictures or images, it takes time to load all those images.
