You can do what you love to do. But things you love to do may not have commercial value. In order to make money, the thing you do should have commercial value.

yes it must be an established ground that you would love to earn a revenue from the business but the number one motivation is shaping the world or adding value to the world. That will help establish what your cause is about.

Let say you are passionate about writing stories and essays. It is a well-known fact that websites featuring stories and essays do not receive much traffic and will not earn much.
On the other hand "make money" is a popular topic and has the potential to draw large traffic earn well.
What will you choose, passion or money?

I think choosing passion is the right thing to do, this will allow you be consistent with your blog posts

Choosing passion can make you satisfied but if your passion fails to make money for you, you will repent for your entire life.

For me, passion is of less importance than money. Without money, the world cannot run and function. I often prioritise things based on their commercial value.

There comes a time in life when you have to start making responsible decisions and most of the times it's the one where you have to choose between your passion and work. They both are rarely the same. Its not anyone else's place to judge you for choosing either of them, so feel no obligations to be make a decision in someone else's pressure.

When you have to make a responsible decision, you will have to choose money because you need money to manage your life. If you have a family, you cannot choose something just because you are passionate about it, you will have to see if your passion will actually make money for you.

This is tricky, passion can earn you a lot of money since you will always be excited and find ways to monetize it. Make money too is what people are demanding for right now, sometimes you should not depend on your passion alone and work with what the masses want.

Is that so. If that makes you successful financially, then pursue it.
I don't follow trends because it's stressful. Sometimes, you have to force yourself to research and write a popular topic. I rather post what I want even I earn less from it.

You might be very passionate about something but you passion may not make you money because your passion may not have commercial element. Therefore, you may have to choose been passion or money.

That's not true. If you want to earn better you will have to choose the field that pays better. You will have to forget about your passion

A first time blogger should concentrate on writing on something they are passionate about as I do not think any blogger can hope to earn from the very start.

I will ask you a simple question, you are passionate about astrology and there is this money niche that everyone is interested. Do you think you can make good earning just by publishing on the topic you ar passionate about or will it be profitable to work on the niche that everyone is interested in?

The question is not about whether you need passion and money or not, the question is can you earn money on something that you are passionate about.

We are very fortunate if we can let our passion earn us money. In that way, we will never feel the stress of working and enjoy the work thoroughly. But that does not happen with everyone. Most people have to forget about their passion and chose a way to make money and pay bills. Our situation in life dictates a lot of things in our lives.

That's what I am trying to explain on this thread. You are passionate about something does not mean you can make money out of that passion.
