Dislikes are only visible to Google Chrome PC users who installed return dislikes extension.

It would have been better to completely remove the dislike button. If we don't like any video, it's to simply ignore it. Unfortunately, it happens people to give specious dislikes, simply due to a different opinion. It would have been better a report button in the case of uploading a porno or blasphemous video.

You want more people to hate Youtube, People like dislikes because it shows how good they are performing as influencers. It is also an indicator in watcher side if its real content for clickbait. Nobody wants a Kumbaya place where everyone likes each other. Those Kumbaya sites are failing. People love polarity.

No, I didn't mean about compulsory like (that's unfair): simply to ignore a video we don't like (so the polarity being: to click the like if we like and to ignore if we dislike). The aim of YouTube could be reached in any way. Well, in any way it's all up to Susan's decisions.

No videos deserved to get a dislike to inform the uploader what they upload. Removing freedom of speech will destroy a platform. Nobody likes a Kumbaya platform where everyone agrees on each other.

This could have happened after so many users disliked one of the video in which Indian prime minister Modi was giving speed and after that the dislike button on that very page was removed so it's a way to brush the negativity on the page

Yes, Having dislikes in most videos will get you shadowbanned. When I say shadow banned, your videos are still monetized but the algorithm will not recommend your channel anymore. Hence losing the opportunity get new subscribers.
