Donation is really good feature on tiktok, If you have at least 1000 followers, you can start live streaming and start collecting donations.

Are you on TikTok? Have you received money through this functionality?

I used TicToc for a while, but discovered it is almost exclusivly BubbleGummers, which is not my market.
There are also some pain-in-the-butt restrictions and hoops to jump through
I do fine without them and can use the extra time I saved.

It's evident that it's not that easy to earn from tiktok despite of meeting the threshold requirements. However user to user donation remains the only earning way on the platform. Now is there any requirements for earning through the user donation?
