I'm not a gamer so I never captured the screen while i'm playing but i use camtasia software for capturing and editing videos, its simple and so good

Yeah , Camtasia studi and Bandicam are good to , I've used them both 2-3 years ago , they are nice.

In video editing i'm using Power Director 11, then after editing I upload my video's to youtube.. If you want to fasten the uploading in youtube, you should try they called Handbreak, it compress the file to make the file less size than the original but it still has same output as original.[/quote]

So the video editor you are using is separate from the bandicam? Is that Director 11 also free for download? Another question on bandicam, does a watermark appear when you play the video?

Just to upload to youtube my gameplays

I recommend you to use techsmith
it is very nice and soft program for recording your desktop

i think you can use VLC media player for that. quite basic features though. and you need to be a little computer whiz to understand some of the instructions. also some of the options for video recording may not be found on some of the versions.

He is looking for a program to edit his gameplays not to record his desktop and then edit the recorded video.I agree Camtasia could be a nice program for recording and editing desktop videos but not gameplays.

I'm using Fraps and bandicam for capturing my work. It's really easy and comfortable.

Me and my colleagues use FRAPS for recording on screen, very easy to use. Just an amazing application and it helps us a lot documenting our works :)

Bandicam is not bad one , but there are other alternatives as well which could be better ans easyer too than Bandicam.
