I like Gimp and Paint.net, for free editing programs. If I'm just editing photos, I usually go to Pixlr. They have a desktop app you can download but I just use the online version.

Yes, I second all the "GIMP" answers. It might seem tricky to learn at first but it actually has some really nice features that even Photoshop doesn't necessarily have. It was the first photo-editing program I learned to use back in the day, and I think it helped me a lot when I transferred over to Photoshop!

Definitely.I've also heard about Paint.net . If we are looking for free image editing program I think gimp is all we are looking for.

I really like photoscape, but it is not the same as Photoshop, it serves more to edit photos
