My facebook account was hacked and it was really bad.The hacker kept posting useless comments and malicious updates.I had to de-activate my account for sometime.I changed the email and password.

I don't face hacking problem now but the hosting sites provide security for our site but for the security I backup my website already.

It is a nightmare for all webmasters around the globe, what would happen if your website got hacked and defaced? Hopefully you will have a backup to restore it with but if they got passwords and usernames the damage may already have been done.

I don't even want to think about it. Yes, just recently one of my WordPress sites was hacked. Hacker first lockedd me from posting, editing, plugin update, etc. After, he took full control and replaced my posts. I had to reinstall a fresh installation and used Webachieve pages to get back my content. Bad experience.
