I agree, as software advances, the hardware stays untouched. After some years, the iPhone will struggle to run along with the new features and working harder as each update is taken on. The battery too takes a serious hit.

Well yeah..You think thats not happening on Android devices too ? When new Android OS version comes out some phones that have the ability to update don't do that because it might run slow.
