I don't think there is any alternative to google adsense till this date. It is good for both video and blog post.

There are actually quite a few sites out there. Check this section: http://www.wjunction.com/102-file-host- ... discussion. I'd be careful. A lot of those hosts are very shady and are mainly used to host pirated content.

Two other options:
1. Twitch TV. You would be paid depending on the number of subscribers you have
2. You could set something up yourself on a VPS.

Google adsense will be the best as long as google search engine is in use.Google must ensure one of their own is the best.

I remember one of the site called paid 2 YouTube which are also paying for only watching video don't need of AdSense account there just watch and earn money

Google ads people who make good income per month in them you can make channel in Youtube networking and uploading video then monetization it ,but must be video for your maker or have rights to publish it in order not to fall into trouble.

When it comes to video monetizing, I think YouTube does the magic. It is a good idea if you can stick to posting on YouTube and focus on creating content that people love. The more your content is played or viewed, the higher your chances of earning even more.

Media.net is exactly like google adsense, it is operated by Microsoft and Yahoo.
