I've always been very impressed with the range of themes available for MyBB, they seem to be really professional looking, yet simple and user-friendly in appearance. There are lots of great free MyBB themes as well.

The themes available for MyBB is a big plus point for it. It's probably due to the amount of customization it offers. In contrast, I'm not always convinced that Xenforo is producing really unique themes. In the paid software market, I always feel IP.B themes have more to offer.

Agreed, but only premium themes, I have not seen a free theme that is as good as some of the custom themes I've seen for MyBB.

For phpBB I've seen several premium quality themes released but they get over used all the time and then become boring after a while seeing them on so many forums.
