If it is a user that posts repeatedly short posts after warnings then I usually leave a short message for them to see when they next visit and find out they are banned. Basically just giving the reason of posting too many low quality posts and ignoring warnings.
Cheating/blatant spamming/Persistent low quality posts are the only reasons we ban people here so far.

Yes, they will sometimes play innocent, and then spread malicious lies about certain websites, calling them a scam on review/scam alert websites, and that is likely to ruin the experiences of others with those websites.
