I have never experienced this kind of scam about paypal or someone informing me that my paypal is being hacked or something. I don't trust other emails if it's not from paypal itself. What do they get from sending these scams?

They don't just do it with Paypal either. Some people will pretend that they are from Facebook to get your facebook account details and steal your account.

Do you receive Paypal scam emails? If so, how do you deal with them; do you simply delete them or report them?

My email will say that it is a spam mails. It will set a warning, the yellow line. but actually the spam mails are directly going to spam mails, so those who are not spams are in my inbox. All of what in my inbox means legal emails or safe emails. If you experienced this, starts to screenshot the email and report it to Paypal. They will confirm if the email comes from them.

You are lucky. My email did not alert me that it was a phishing email. I guess it thought it was legit because not too many people had reported the email address that had sent it yet. But thanks to my hacking savvy, I was able to see what the email was and report it.

I receive a couple of scam emails, especially when I posted some secondhand items for sale on Gumtree. The "buyer" sent me a couple of "PayPal" notification about a money transfer and such. Good thing I did not believe and Googled what are the tell-tale signs of a scam email.

One good way to spot a phishing email, no matter who it is from, is that they will always try to scare you into taking some sort of action. That action is usually to enter your account details into their phishing link.

I have never received one but I have had emails trying to get my bank account information. They are obviously fake and I can't imagine anyone being taken in by them. They are usually in very bad english with a spammy email address.

I am getting a lot of spam emails on enhancements (male enhancements). I don't need one. It is funny. I am also getting emails about credit card (US credit cards). I don't open these emails which goes directly to spam folders. I empty this folder every now and then.

Yeah, it may not specifically be from Paypal, but many people will receive these types of scam emails in their lifetime when it pertains to any account that they may have that holds a lot of money. It is terrible.

Those peoples who are scammers always do this, I aslo received it

They keep making new email addresses too, since one of their emails gets reported enough and blocked by the major email clients, so it is important to always remain conscious on that.

I am bothered by the news. PayPal is one of the most trusted online money transaction platform. The authenticity of the site should be paramount.

I haven't gotten any scam emails at all, ever. But if I do I consider myself educated enough to be able to distinguish between a real and a fake email. For example, PayPal will refer to you by your name, something that most scammers probably don't know.
