Re: does google adsense approve account for free blog?

Postby es88 » 07 Oct 2015, 08:41

I got my Adsense account a long time ago, and I remember that the requirements were to have a well-written blog with several posts (10 or more) with decent visit, and the topics had to be in the Adsense "safe zone". It's also important to note that even after you get the account, it's important to be careful because it is very easy to lose it if you break any of the tiniest rules.

How much visitors do you need to have in your blog? I am quite interested to apply but I think my blog is still fairly new so I am waiting for the right time.

In the Google website it's clearly written that adsense partner platforms (like blogger) can be used to get adsense account. However, there are some self-proclaimed experts who have mentioned in their 'how to get adsense account' articles that it's mandatory to have our own domain name. If that were the case, Google would have stated it. But that's not the case.. so I am sure they will accept blogger blogs. The requirements being the content should be original, as per google policies, should have good traffic, mandatory to be at least 6 months old (for some countries).

Yes, it does. You have to have written plenty of good and informative articles, at least 10 and your blog have decent visitors as well. Remember to follow their rules and regulations.

Vinaya wrote:Whether your blog is free hosted or paid is not the criteria for Adsense approval, the main criteria are type of contents (no contents on alcohol, weapons, drugs, porn), gets good traffic from legitimate sources and number of contents. As long as you follow these points, you will surely be approved.

Do you have an adsense account, Vinaya?

You need a premium domain like .com, .net, .org etc. In order to get approved. There was time when Google used to approve blogspot and WordPress Blogs but those days are gone now.
If you don't wanna invest in domain then just get a free .tk domain at http://dot.tk and try. I've seen people who got approved without investing a Penny.

Google doesn't care if your blog is free or not, they just want good quality, non-overly-commercial posts (so not many Amazon links or something), and a steady flow of visitors.
