I guess people have more time to surf on the weekends. That makes sense, although I always thought that a lot of people did their surfing from work. I see so many people saying that they are at work when they are hanging out in forums and stuff.

Aren't you afraid you may lose your primary earning resource for a few extra pennies? I guess I am thinking like an employer, but any time I am paying employees for should be spent doing work to help the company.

If I share the link of my site on social media websites, I noticed the traffic increasing, but I didn't observe happening on certain days. It depends on moment of sharing, in my case.

By experience it is not the day that determines the heavy traffic of your blog or site. It is the news, the product, the events which interest the readers though you may have a regular followers or subscribers.

I get more views on certain days, this happens especially with the contents about certain festivals or days.

I tend to see more traffic around holidays and special occasions as well. I try to post content related to those days, so I get some hits from that.

I know most forums are more active during the week but I have found my forum is usually more active on the weekends. Possibly because I have a younger user base, a lot of people are busy during the week and have more time for the forum on the weekend. It's usually busier in the summer than it is during the rest of the year as well.

Yes there are some days I get more traffic on my site. It happens any day of the week and I sometimes wonder what's the magic. When I say more traffic I mean a significant increase in the number of visitors to the site.

That's what I was thinking too, but you never can tell. I guess they have more time on their hands, since they don't have classes (or as many classes) during the summer. I guess they read in between beach parties.

Our website gets very few hits during weekends so obviously our audience are those employed and using the office computer for surfing. The peak days are Wednesdays and Thursday which get the most number of hits.

I make more than 8 posts on different sites every day and keep a watch on visiting trends. The trends keep changing. Sometimes it is Tues while other times the trend says it was on Tuesday so I think there is no set trend but it all depends how many of friends were online at the time of posting.
