Thought it would be easy to post unlimited but I tried to and discovered for myself that it is never easy. So now I am not for it. I just post whenever there is a chance. Quality post is more important than quantity for me.

The 10 post per day will as well make it easier for people to be able to have limited things to read compared to when there is too many posts.

I agree with that , the more you post or force yourself to post you will see for yourself the quality of the posts coming further and further down . I'd rather post something sensible rather than posting something for the sake of posting. Limits really help us and the site. We know when to stop and the site is also assured of better quality content.

I was on those forums with unlimited posts before, and I couldn't do it. The maximum I can post was 10 because you will run out of things to contribute. Though with those unlimited posts forum, the longevity was short, and soon disappeared altogether.

That's correct. If a forum is open to unlimited posting, what you are doing is spamming the forum. If you post too much, you will also compromise the quality.

You can have unlimited posts on a site like Mylot where you are paid for simple chatting and you can talk everything under the sun as long as you do not violate the rules and guidelines. You can use it for minute-to-minute updates or hourly updates or as a personal diary. But doing the same on other forums would be tiring and one would be exhausted soon. And then it would turn into spamming.

There was a time a forum I was posting on had unlimited posting. But it just lasted 24 hours.

A limit should be there on the number of replies a day in a forum. By doing so, people will think before posting, instead of raiding every topic, it'll help in keeping the forum quality at best.

I have seen this on another forum too and it was admin retail but after a user who is part of forum coin too started posting a high number of posts, the admin was forced to add a limit to the number of posts.

See, keeping a standard limit for writing posts is necessary. Otherwise, people will just keep on posting and spread spam inside the forum.

Yes, I think limits are necessary or else the system will be abused. Most sites let you post a lot but at some the earnings reduce just like here in FC. You'd be forced to put a cap on your posts.

I think it was a technical glitch which was soon rectified. Although every post made under the unlimited posts were indeed credited but it lasted for few hours only. If it would have been sustainable FC would be having unlimited posts too. It just encourages spam.

that is what you normally get when forum members ae allowed to do unlimited post,because the quality of post would just be too poor.
