I am planning to set up a new site in the coming days. I am still planning on what specific niche to start with. But I have my site in Blogspot. I am still thinking on whether to continue with this one or to set up another site. Here is my site, https://www.sharonslopez.com/

Thank you! I did see this, the other day, from the owner of a large image host.

Thank you for signing up. :) I'm really not sure where the owner got that information from. I did try searching for a couple of those image hosts. I do know that Wi.To are closing. But I thought you might have seen or read something about Imgfly.

It would be great if there is a portion where each of the members can share their own sites and other members can share their honest opinions. The website owner would give some amount in exchange for a good comment on the member's site and at the same time for a review of the site/suggestion for improvement which should be posted in here. This will help the website owner in terms of generating traffic and improving the site.

I signed up with your site. I am still exploring the site to know how I could use it for my upcoming blog.

Thank you for signing up! I really appreciate it. If you're sharing images, you could create albums on o0.nz and link to them. :) You can also add an upload button to WordPress comments, which link with o0.nz. That way your visitors can upload images directly in the comments. The plugin is: https://o0.nz/plugin

This would be good. Perhaps if everyone listed their site (perhaps for a fee) and then a task that would help their site out (like 'leave a comment on a blog post'). Then replies could generate a little extra FC$ for helping out other members of the community.

I did but haven't had them for a while. :(

I had a hosting forum. I used theforumwheel to pay people for posting on it because I knew if I built up enough content I would rank well in searches. AdSense hosting ads also pay very well per click. I thought I was doing very well for a new forum. I wasn't fully covering costs but I was getting an $11RPM on AdSense. Then I found out that a member was trying to be nice and was clicking on the ads himself. I told him that while I appreciated what he was trying to do, that would get me banned. So he stopped... And so did most of the clicks. So I wasted a good deal of money because I thought that the site was actually doing well.

I had a Q&A site at the same time. I thought that if I didn't directly offer pay per post but instead offered a monthly contest with a few good cash prizes, I could not only attract lots of members but also encourage top quality posting. The quality of the posting on the site was certainly better than ForumCoin. Unfortunately the contest created a bad community environment. People would downvote each other in retaliation, lots of people were reported to me etc. The bad community vibe and the fact that AdSense was in no way getting near the contest costs meant that I shut it down.

I probably should have stuck with both or one of those sites. Changed things up and kept going. That's what I'm doing with o0.nz. I want to stick with it, even though it's a very difficult niche and hard to get right. I've always had the most success keeping at something.

@Sam thanks for sharing your experience with your sites. I have a blog. I am using adsense. I also applied for media.net ad and was approved. However, media net ads code did not work. I contacted the support but it was very unhelpful. Since media.net ads were hampering my goodgle ads, had to take out media.net ads. I am yet to reach payout threshold, however, I am happy with what I am earning from adsense. I might receive my first payment in a month or two.

That's a great collection of blogs, well done cmoneyspinner.

I sold Business Advice Forum some years ago, it wasn't as active as ForumCoin, but had some great quality small business discussions. I sometimes feel sorry that I sold it but I was too busy to manage it at the time and to be honest I also needed the money to buy a car at the time.

ForumPromotion is a great way to find out about websites or blogs and there is plenty of other stuff to post on too. It doesn't pay but it gives out points which I am planning to convert to cash and donate to charities.

You sold a site? That's awesome! My son kept telling me that was a great way to make money. But I never got into it. I can see how someone would want to buy a site like Business Advice Forum. I used to visit a blog all the time and got to know the blog owner casually. I always thought her blog was terrific. But when she sold it for $100K, I knew it was terrific! I had not realized that it was her goal all along. She sold that site and got to work on another one.

It's great that you were able to buy a car too. Some people don't realize it but their websites are "sellable assets". At some of the other sites that I have joined, I suspect that the true aim of the owners is to be able to sell their site in future for a "nice piece of change". I like to visit that site where they sell other websites just to see how much certain sites sell for. I have been tempted to even buy a site. But I'm holding off on that for right now. I'm working on learning more about cryptocurrency investing and trading.

Well done her, that's great money. Unfortunately for me, my sale was for a lot, lot less than that :)
What type of blog was it?

Good luck with your site Mika, I hope you are enjoying working on it and that it becomes successful for you.
