From personal experience, I would suggest against using black hat seo techniques, because websites are savvy these days. They tend to know when you are doing something underhand. All you will get is banned.

No. I don't generally go out of my way to break the rules. Doing so usually comes back to bite you anyway. Might as well just do things right to begin with and keep your reputation intact.

Because most people who use Blackhat SEO techniques don't care about being proud of their work, or not being proud of it. They are usually doing it to make money, and blackhat methods speeds earnings up.

lack SEO comes with its own disadvantages especially when Big Google catches you. I don't use them for fear of penalties associated with it.
