Yes, captcha will deter the real commentator as much as the spammers. If I see a captcha, I avoid commenting.

Seeing your point now I am thinking I should remove the captcha and just go back to removing spam as I see it.

Some captcha code doesn't work in their web browser. I often encounter errors when there's a captcha I needed to refresh the web browser again and again before I can break the code.

Oh hmmm I didn't realize that happened, but it is good to know.

The captcha is not what discourages me. What pisses me off, quite frankly, captcha or no captcha, is when I take the time to write a useful relevant comment and my comments get ZAPPED! Sent to spam. I know this happens a few bloggers have apologized to me and said "Sorry about that. Your comments went to SPAM. But I fished it out and approved it."

I love those blogs that have that Comments LUV plugin. YES!! My comments don't go to spam on this blogs. I wish I could do a search and find blogs that have the Comments LUV plugin. I'd just go to those blogs and leave my comments there. :D

I have not enabled captcha because I believe captcha can deter people to leave comments. I delete spam comments manually.

I think captcha solving can really be a problem because personally I don't comment much on captcha solving sites.

One of the proven strategies for encouraging blog commenting is doing blog comments yourself. If you comment on blogs, you are likely to be reciprocated.

One of the good ways to drive readers on your articles and have them comment is through forum promotion. You can use forum coin exchange to have people comment on your blogs.

I hope you being here on FC had learned some tricks by now. You can check the threads here on FC and figure why there are some posts that are getting more views and comments. Base on my observation some people will comment on something that is fun, easy to do accomplish which does not require much thought or research, if there is a payout like a reward or anything like that.

Having more traffic through search engines is a good way to get more comments. But if you want to promote, you can give some incentives to comment. Your close friends and family won't mind leaving a comment without any incentive. But for others, an incentive or reward may attract. I have seen some fellow users here offering 1 Fc for one comment in their blog. May be that might help if you are ready to donate you FCs to promote your blog.

organic comments are the best, however, if you cannot get organic comments, you can promote on forums and ask the users to leave comments for some rewards. I have done this for my blog.

You need engagements on your blogs. Commenting is an engagement. However, you can also add quiz and voting/rating options to engage visitors on your website.

I agree. In fact it's easier here at Forum Coin because you can either create a post that you'll comment for a coin OR you can respond to posts that offering coins for comments.

I tried to create a Blog Commenting Service on Fiverr and it wouldn't take. I don't know why. Instead I created one of SEOClerks. It's been advertised for several monthsbut I've only had 2 customers.

I think you can also use micro job sites to drive comments on your blogs and websites.

The best way to drive comments to your blog is through organic means. You should publish an interesting post, if the post is interesting people will be interested in leaving feedback.

In order to drive comments, your content should be interesting. Only interesting contents generate engagements. However, there are times when having interesting contents is not enough.

Blogging commenting can be very helpful if you want comments on your own posts. People like to reciprocate.

The basic fact is that your blog should touch the hearts of the people, so that they would comment voluntarily! But in this competitive World you can try many tricks of the trade to have traffic to your blog and get a comment from them? Why don't you offer some scheme here so that people would comment on your blog for some FCs , under appropriate heading?

You are correct, I have seen tasks like this on micro workers and I think it better because one will be getting human traffic and comments as well.

You make an interesting point. The first think you should consider is whether your post connects with the readers. If the readers are able to connect with what is written, he/she will surely post a comment.
