You can find blogs open for paid commenting on Postloop

I'm very curious about this. I don't believe I actually forgot about this. I did try to comment on PostLoop blogs but never got paid. How much did you have to pay out @Chameli?

I did try a couple of blogs on postloop. In order to leave comments, I had to read the entire post and the admin used to manually approve comments. Therefore, I unsubscribed blogs.

I have done that too commented on blogs for postloop a few years ago, but there weren't too many blogs listed then or even now I guess.
@chameli I agree with you, it was a pain to post comments on blogs, the forums was much easier any day. I also felt that the blog owners scored us poorly compared to forum owners.
One of the forum owners used to mail me regularly telling me what she expects. It was easier working with such people. I earned quite a bit at postloop then.

I did subscribe to a couple of blogs on Postloop and posted on these blogs. However, I was not credited and therefore, I gave up on these blogs.

I didn't even know that many services could pay for others to comment on their sites. I am sure its a reason why I see many blogs with thousand comments yet with poor content. Now I know if you want to get commenters, you pay for them which is a bad seo practice.

Just like forums drive activities and generate traffic from paid posting, some blog owners pay people to leave comments. I think this is perfectly ok.

Still it will be good if we are not paid to comment. Maybe we can just ask for traffic from friends.

well, we should strive for organic comment. However, having no comments on your post also does not look good. If you are not getting naturally, there is no harm in offering incentives for commentators.

On hubpages we actually invited others to post on our blogs. We always repaid the courtesy with comments on their blogs and posting on Google plus. It worked well until things changed in hubpages and people left the site.

Hubpages writer reciprocate. If you leave comments on someone's hub, he/she is very likely to reciprocate by leaving comments on your hub.

True, but what I am saying here is that they reciprocated even outside hubpages. Most of us at that time were encouraged to have blogs and the buddy system worked on those too, at least for a time.

I have a friend who writes for hubpages. He says he is on facebook group where the members are hubpages writers. They share posts and ask the members to leave comments. The group is closed.

Yeah that was closed a few years ago if I remember right. That was a semi formal action group initiated by Robin Edmundson's the site owners wife and co-owner.
This other thing i am talking about was an initiative by writers there who had blogs.

There are bloggers groups on facebook where the members promote posts and encourage other members to leave feedback. This works on a reciprocal basis.

It isn't bad since it isn't anything illegal, it just like advertising your blog online anywhere and getting organic visit s from people that click on the links. So it all the same thing there shouldn't be a problem with that.

I had once tried to drive paid comments to my blog through Microworkers. It din't work, rather it caused more harm than good, and Adsense didn't approve my blog.

If you post your job for international users, there will be lot of users from non English speaking countries and they will leave senseless comments.

Facebook groups for specific purposes work well. Since all have similar interests in the group and they know quite a bit about the subject, most comments could also be readable and worthwhile, and since it is reciprocal in nature it is free and you could make it work at your pace.

I think, there's nothing wrong with it. A lot of people resort to paid blog commenting. I just think that commenters should be given the freedom to comment on what they they have in mind rather than being bound by heavier rules that hinder them from really give their opinions.

Actually paid comments are all about as per the need of the topic. They can't be as per poster'd choice but only as per the demand of the topic. In fact paid comments are different from forum postings.
