captcha is a bot that used to verify thats its manful or auto act in sites.
we mostly found it in PTC sites..we first experienced that in FB.
now its a common thing to verify bot act.

I'd rather captchas be readable, instead of those words that seem like they're obviously scanned from a book or something, and the words are all crooked and unreadable. I wish all captchas were like the ones I saw a couple of days ago: they were only three letters, all upper-case, but animated, and very clear. Sigh. If only all captchas were that simple to process.

Captcha is useful to reduce spam and bot requests. However, I think some times they are quite annoying because sometimes they don't load properly. But it is a really nice invention in my opinion.

There are captchas that are really hard to understand... the letters are reverse/flipped/rotated or something else and that makes them really hard to understand.
