Tutorials are worth it depends when you are interested on the tutorial that you are taking.

Sam wrote:You could create hidden tutorials where the user has to post to view the rest of the content. From what I have seen, guests do not tend to sign up and post after reading unless they have to. There will be the odd sign up but it won't be worth the amount of effort you put into writing the tutorials.

This is a nice thing to do when going for online tutorials :)

Yeah of course bro, tutorials are really good on the forums, but you need to keep them updated and add new tutorials each times so you can get visitors always, and you can hide some part of them and ask them to register so they can see the rest, and make the signup easy so you get more members :)

I don't think the best option today is to write tutorials at forums. I suggest you to make a video on Youtube, that's the website I usually go when I'm looking for a tutorial. ;)

I don't want to create a bunch of great tutorials and have guests view them and not even register to say thank you.

What are your thoughts and do you think tutorials are worth creating?

i don't see why you SHOULDN'T do it because clearly, you saw the opportunity to create due to lack of information and thus, you SHOULD create tutorials for you to share your knowledge. Tutorials are not just about being popular or famous in the internet space but to share your knowledge to those who are needing of such. And you know what's the good thing with that? You can have the opportunity to exchange information for those who have knowledge as well. It's a win-win situation. You share something and you learn from your viewers as well.

for a person who has been trying to learn computer programming thru the internet but hasn't found a good tutorials yet, i say go for it. there are a lot like me and one more option will help us. one tip though, i think it will be better if you put a word of the day box in the description box so the newbies like me will not feel left out. i know we can search it thru the internet but it will be very convenient ;)
