No I don't leave. I think it's a mistake to think that design is everything. I've seen successful forums have poor site designs.

What would cause me to leave is a boatload of advertisements which I am forced to view.

I just go ahead. It is important for a site to be attractive because most of the visitors consider it. However, I look forward to its content. The importance of the content is greater than anything. If I found it appealing and would give me a lot of benefits like good informations and ideas, then I stay with the site.

Well a good looking site does give a plus point but I'll likely stick to it if it's good to get information or is somehow beneficial to me.
But for any kind of money making sites that doesn't look good, I'll just skip without a second thought.

Although looks must be inviting to invite new people to visit the site as long as the content is legitimate and good, I think frequent users will never leave the site because the content is actually the valuable that they are looking for.

Yes, i'm those people who have an aversion to ugly, unprofessional websites because to me they look shady and unprofessional. If it's an unknown site, I'm immediately put off and leave without using it. I've passed up working on certain sites because they looked too cluttered and just horrible.

I am attracted to sites/forums because of exciting and interesting content, not flashy themes.
