Re: Banned Member

I will take this opportunity to mention how surprised I have been a few times to see certain members banned. A couple of them were here for a while and then I noticed the line through their name. I can't help wondering what they did and why they would put their account at risk. It really isn't worth it.

Yes, they will sometimes play innocent, and then spread malicious lies about certain websites, calling them a scam on review/scam alert websites, and that is likely to ruin the experiences of others with those websites.

Yes, I've seen this in action. I see people calling earning sites "scams," only to find out later that they were banned for cheating. They can't cry "scam" when they're the one doing the scamming... they didn't get paid because they cheated (not due to being scammed). The funny part is when someone who knows them from that site comes in and tells everybody what they did, but yeah, they might keep people from trying out a good online earning opportunity.

Same here LOL I think a huge part of it is shame at having being caught with their pants down. -and I think the reason they launch a smear campaign against the site is to save face. But it's sad really because you can sometimes see right through it. But it's none of my business, so I just play along to save their blushes LOL

some people are being banned for breaching the site rules and regulations. But you can apply for an appeal to activate your account again.

I think if you are banned you get block and you cannot access the site. The admin will take note of your IP and you can only access the site if you have different IP.

I got banned from a forum at the forum wheel and when I logged in I got the message about me being banned and It didn't say a reason. The forum should have given me warnings instead of just banning me.

I agree, they should give you a reason before banning you. A few common reason's that may cause you to be banned is you may have multiple accounts on created using the same IP. The people creating it might be different but the IP is same. It is the same for many earning site if you ask for the owner's permission. This is to prevent abuse of "farming" strategy. For example, a PTC site. If the 1 account per household rule hasn't been imposed, people could use bots on 10 devices to "farm" money. But this doesn't applies to content sites even if they give rewards because they take more time.

Some sites take the stance that some cases are so obvious they don't warrant a warning because it's abundantly obvious why you've been banned. It's a shame, but sometimes I can sort of see where they are coming from. There may be a few innocent mistakes that slip through the net, but it must be very time consuming for the admin to sieve through all the 'offenders', which could explain why they don't bother alerting the members of their offences.

I can hear Paul Mc Cartney singing "Banned on the run!". Seriously when people join a site you have to be aware of the "culture" of that site. the house rules are the first to be considered. if some one got banned without fair warning it might be due to grave misconduct. I saw some one made a comment in one of the threads here and I saw the word in red font _BANNED. so I guess you can still post in Forumcoin (correct me if i"m wrong) :)

You have to demand an explanation why you are banned especially you are investing money in the said site. Likewise, you have the right to ask a question? And I don't expect that you won't be notified when you have provided your email address in your profile.

Of course, if it is banned from a site I like to be informed and to know the reason. We all have the right to make mistakes and realize where we make mistakes so as not to make the same mistake.
