Well, if your goal is to create a money site, them make an actual website. The worst thing with free blogs and websites is the domain, it gives you zero credibility when someone sees a domain like this: yourpage.blogger.com or yourpage.weebly.com.

I tend to agree. I don't think I'd feel very comfortable with a "store" set up on free hosting. I also agree that a blog or a typical website can both work, as long as there is something of interest there that will draw people in.

Blog is a site where you write stories for you or tips to earn money and so on.Website is more complicated and foten uses its own CMS, unlike the free blogspot blogs.

I think that blog is more personal. It means you are sharing your experiences, travels, your favorite food rather than imparting knowledge or information. A website is more of a business and you are investing capital in the first few months but it will return to you. If you are business minded then I suggest you should make a website rather than a blog. It is more professional rather than just owning a blog.

I think the 2 will remain confusing me. I have a WordPress self hosted Blog. The CMS is a blogging content management system as far as I understand. This means you can have both a self hosted blog that pays like mine, and a website. The meaning may be is what I am not getting well.
