The option of registering with social network accounts is a nice one, but I'm always scared about the security of my information whenever any site tells me to login with my Facebook or any other social media platforms. There are times some people gave their social media details on registering in some site and got their accounts hacked. This is why I fear this option.

You need an email to make an online bank account.

It sometimes enables hackers to hack account. It reduces the security of the account. I said this because it has really affected many of my accounts on social media

I remember a person who lost her facebook and because of this she lost her Adsense affiliated articles account (600 articles) although she got her fb back, but not articles. since then I avoid joining any site via social media.

I see the rationale behind letting people register via their social media accounts. And I see many sites following this trend these days. While I agree you need to move with the times, I'm reluctant to use my Facebook account because there are certain private things in my account I'd like to keep private. Sometimes it's not even about me but also about my friends and loved ones' privacy because they didn't sign up for this. So I'm a little meh on that.

Maybe but we use our email which is connected to the bank account in entering our social media account unless the email used is not an official email you used in your bank account. But, registering on a particular site via fb or other social media account is good and convenient, we just have to frequently change our password of our social media account.

Never use bank related email for such accounts, not even for social media.
Either people should use extra email for forum, or even extra (fake social media account).
I don't share my main paypal email either.

People just because you don't want to register via social media, it doesn't mean you will not give people such option if you own a website. Attracting a younger audience is important to advertisers.

If I have a website, it would be better for me to allow this, but I don't use such tactics, when once I tried to join, the site asked permission for posing and deleting my account which I disagree.
