Re: Can a 100 words article rank on search engines?

Postby Sincerem » 06 Nov 2020, 09:15

A 100 article writing can never be considered appropriate for any search engine tool listing. The minimum is 700 words count to go live on search engines.

That depends because Yoast SEO prefers 300 words and it forbids me to right any longer than that.

I'm not sure why I've only just seen this thread! I'm glad to hear Yoast says 300 is great. On the whole, all I ever seem to hear is that the longer the article the better. I've always found this baffling because for me, it's about quality not quantity. So I'm glad to hear all these comments here.

Yoast disqualifies me from getting green if my article is longer than 300.

That must be it because when I joined blogging communities that was the requirement; a minimum of 300 words. A friend said that it was just enough content to wrap around a Google ad that was 350 x 250. That makes sense.

Yoast can be frustrating if you want your article to be longer because you have to trimp some information to pass their standards.

It all depends on the kind of article. I have seen articles withe a few words rank although I can't tell if this lasts for all the time. If the article is a news kind, yea, it can
I wrote a 50 word article and accidentally published it. Since I didn't knew, I was surprised to see it ranking and with traffic. Oh yes, I had an opening image

It can be kind of annoying. But then I have to remember that it's only a program and I'm smarter! LOL.

100 words or less article can work out. A lot of dictionary and the translation sites have words less than that and it helps them rank too.

On the off chance that you can totally clarify your idea in 100 words or less with genuine great substance, at that point definitely, pull out all the stops. Instead of word count you should compose quality substance for your crowd. Not exclusively will this assistance you with your site rankings, yet it will likewise fabricate solid associations with your readers since you are responding to their inquiries and giving valuable data to them. This will cycle and keep them returning to your site later on.

The search engine finds keywords in search term that are included in your article or especially your article meta data and then it will be involved even 100 words count.

I do not know why people say they prefer short articles If you are searching online, do you want an article that does not provide enough information?

It is right to say that a lengthy article can be time-consuming and one might lose interest in reading it. But 100 words sounds too little. I do not think that any relevant information can be provided in 100 words. I doubt that it would be a quality article.

If you check the top ranking articles on Google for any keywords, you will see that they have medium to long length. Check the sites like forbes, business insider, investopedia, they all publish long articls.
