Re: Quora or Wikipedia?

Wikipedia or Reddit actually. I don't bother with Quora because half the time, people ramble on about something not even related to the question without answering it properly

I have around 1000 views so far with the quora and it seems like a good option to continue increasing that influence for the near future.

I gave up on the payment program. In fact, I'm about to give up on Quora completely. I just can't find a reason to be active there.

For me when searching for the information I need I usually go to the Wikipedia. However I found it more conveniently to use it than Quora

Wikipedia is like an encyclopedia for research. That's how I use it.

But I use Quora for Q & A. Often when I have a question and I Google it, search results for Quora appear in the results. I usually find the answer I'm looking for.

I think quota is the best since you get to know opinions of different people and decide the best for you while Wikipedia only provides you with information..well, i think it depends on what you want right...

The thing is that both sites have proven that they are reliable. But from what I understand Quora has an earnings program. But they shut down the English version.

I don't think Wikipedia has an earnings program.

When it comes to open ended discussions, quora is better than Wikipedia. It brings in different views and perspectives to it and can be current when it comes to tech trends.

Does Quora have anyone checking whether the information is correct? The Wikipedia editors are pretty good, but I've seen some total garbage go unchallenged on Quora.

Both Quora and Wikipedia are popular sources of information, but they serve different purposes. Quora is where people can ask questions and receive answers. It can be a good place to get personalised advice or opinions on a wide range of topics.

And, Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that provides factual information on a vast array of subjects.

Wikipedia is a better source than Quora for sure, because things there are at least checked periodically for confirmation and they generally have credible sources. Whereas Quora is more like a modern day AskYahoo.

Any time I look at a result on Quora the platform organization confuses me to the point that I just leave. I'll look over Wikipedia or Reddit to get the information I need.

Quora stopped the earnings program for answering questions. They have now a revenue ad-sharing program which I have tried. It's not working that great for me.

They also have a feature where you can charge people to read your content with a subscription plan. I'm not going to bother with it.

@Kalayla
On Quora, it's nice to read personal stories and tips from people who have real life experiences in different topics.
