Re: Have you ever coded anything?

Postby reddyash » 13 Apr 2015, 07:26

I have coded few of my websites. bpoprocessors.com, bpovision.com. If I am not getting what I need then most of the time I google for the correct code. Mostly I use Dreamweaver for all my websites.

I've taken some programming classes in college. I am currently working on developing a new design for my website. It's a slow process but should be worth it!

I've been learning basic programming in class - HTML & CSS, Javascript, Visual Basic, Python, but I'm really just a beginner. :) I'm hoping to keep working at these languages and become better at programming though.

As my name suggests, I do a lot of coding. :)

I do web development using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL/SQLite, and some Less (for modifying Bootstrap). I've been mostly developing my own websites, but I'm hoping to branch out a bit and make some income by helping others get their websites and visions online.

I am also a game and software developer, using Haxe, C#, some C++, and occasionally Perl (for scripts that improve my workflow). Currently working on both a game and a program.

I'm 100% self taught, and I started with Actionscript 3 until I naturally migrated to Haxe. I learned all of the other languages on a need-to-know basis, so I could develop tools, make my own websites, etc. It's been a really enjoyable experience, and I think everyone could benefit from learning a little programming.

Congratulation for all what you've learned in the huge world of coding,

Thanks! I love how there's always more to learn with coding. It's fun to continually learn new things, and be able to solve problems. :)

How did you get into web development?

I totally agree with you, there is always more to learn and that is the fun of coding !

I begin to code by error :p Let me explain ^^ I was on Internet and then I, by mistake, saved a html page from Google Chrome. I started to edit the HTML of it !

And now I am a certified Web Developer from a Canada-Wide Web Developer association. I code HTMl, PHP, CSS, JS, C++, NodeJS and a couple of other languages ^^

Its a weird start in the coding world, but I am now living from coding actually ! Soon, I'll be living from teaching :)

I've experimented with plenty of viruses, botnets, Remote administration tools, keyloggers, and I use a plethora of applications, and "custom interfaces" to execute things I want to do or create.
I'm also a linux user and I enjoy creating programs and for what it's worth I made my own IRC network which I'm pretty proud of.
