Just set up my first real paid blog! Advice?

Postby crackerjack9 » 20 Feb 2016, 21:55

 Well, I'm LEARNING how to set it up. Any advice as to how to put it to some good use? I write well, but not well enough to attract thousands of viewers a week I think. Any free writing courses to help improve my skills? Any advice on setting up the pages of my blog? Any advice on how to share my link or what kind of things I should write about?

I have a real hard time narrowing down my writing to any one niche...is it possible to have a blog that addresses multiple issues?

Sorry for all the questions...I just want to learn how the pros do things!

when you say paid blog, do you mean you have monetized it with Adsense ads, or through some other avenue?

To start with, edit your profile on Forum Coin to add a link to your blog. It will show as a Globe under your name with every post or comment you make here, so be as active as you can even if you don't get paid for posting (over the 10 posts) and make sure every post is interesting and has value. That will get you more exposure, practice and expressing yourself and build your reputation all for FREE.

Gee, what do you mean by Real Paid Blog? If it is monetized, well and good. I wonder how you have launched a blog already without finalizing the niche or the theme. What is your forte? What is your pre-occupation in life and what is your... so many things you have to ask yourself.

Sure, it's possible to post anything. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a good idea. Rambling, "little bit of everything" blogs don't tend to do as well as specific ones do, at least not overall.

People are generally looking for specific information. They google something, find your site, read that one article...maybe, and then bounce, because nothing else is related to their topic of interest. Just my two cents.

Even if you chose one area of the interest you will soon realize how many subcategories it has after a very short time. Don+'t think, just go and build it.

Congratulations!

Driving Traffic can be quite challenging because of so much competition.

1st thing I would do is make a banner or at least a link to show at the bottom of every post.

Notice mine for example. This is quite easy to do and that way people who read your comments can "Click" on your link or banner and it will take them to your blog.

Wishing you Great Success.

Have you made money with your blog? I was kind of thrown into confusion when the title of your threat is "Real Paid Blog" and then in your post are asking for advices on what to do! In any case, like others have said, share them on Google +, Twitter, Facebook and on other social media sites! Good luck!

I think the reference meant that she is actually paying to host her own blog rather than using one of the free services. It's not as easy to make money with a blog as most people think, at least not right away. Well, in my experience anyway.

You will have to find a way to reach your targeted audience so find out who your target is and how to attract them. You will have to have the confidence that you can have thousands of viewers a week. Take a look at successful blogs out there and see what made them successful.

It is not easy to set up a paid blog or blog that earns. As a novice, you have first to establish your connections in every social media. You have to active in forum writing wherein your newly created blog is being linked. You have to write and maintain quality blogs or posts and do them regularly or as schedule. There are really a lot of things to do and as I have said it is not easy. It will take time.

To sum it up, write quality post. Build a connection. Update it regularly.

No, I just mean that I finally paid for a website and I'm not using a gree service. I intend to monetize it, though.

It is very nice to hear from someone like you, who is too teachable to adapt to situations favorable to your present needs. That is the kind of attitude that spells success. Being willing to be taught, to accept suggestions, to see criticisms in the constructive way. Good luck to your blog.
