I have a domain name idea which includes number in the beginning. If the domain name has a number will it have positive or negative effects on my website in terms of SEO? Is there any connection between number and SEO?

I think you'll find Google places much less relevance on exact match domains nowadays so having a number should not be a concern from an SEO standpoint. Google is also smart enough to realize that "The top 10 things..." is equivalent to "The top ten things...".

It is going to affect SEO on those old sites made in 1990 that prefer exact match, but no one uses them in a serious way anymore.

It affects "domain search" on some search engines that dislike main keyword in the middle of a big name, but it can be fixed with a small quantity of backlinks. For example if you domain is 826fguruf.tld, some search engines won't list your site on search results like "fguruf".
