tpicks wrote:Yes people can easily contact me on my blog. My name and email address are all out there for interested visitors to contact me. I'd welcome more contacts especially for business. I equally linked my Facebook page to my blog.

The only sites I have are my three blogs on BlogJob, and I see no need for me to leave any contact details on there because my readers can use the comment space left for them to get in touch. Even if i had an independent site, I'd be very wary of providing my telephone number. Like you, I'd definitely draw the line at giving my email address, at the very most. Better safe than sorry LOL!

I don't think it's necessary to put all of your private info out there, especially for a blog. If I had a business, sure, I'd use the business phone number, but I'm not giving out my home phone or cell phone number to random people on the internet. Then again, there's really nothing so earth shattering in my blog that it can't be handled via email.

The easy free solution to that problem is to get a free Google Voice number. You can even send transcriptions of your voice mails to your email address.
